By this weekend, I hope to finish deleting all the unnecessary fluff in my novel. I've already slashed 58 pages and am going to burn at least 26 more. Ideally, I'd like to remove 46 more pages, but that might lead to throwing the baby out with the bath, so I'll look over the draft after I hit the 26-page milestone before I go any further.
To say that I am on a roll is an understatement. I feel like I am going at lightspeed! In my head, the novel is practically finished already. I just need to find time to write it all down. I'm also looking forward to watching UFC 146 to get more ideas for the fight scenes. Dos Santos vs. Mir should be an awesome striker vs. grappler matchup.
